Soul of the World Gets New Info Board on Great Corn Island

In collaboration with the Ródrigo Campbell Foundation and Hotel & Restaurant Arenas Beach—and in coordination with the Town Hall—an informative bilingual board has been installed at Quinn Hill Park, Great Corn Island, showcasing the Soul of the World, one of only eight such monuments worldwide.

The vertex, locally known as the pyramid, has also been restored to its original colour and materials. This restoration was carried out in partnership with the Town Hall, Culture House, the local INTUR office, and volunteers.

The Corn Islands Virtual Library designed and developed the board’s content, providing historical and cultural context in both English and Spanish. The information was enriched with the support and insights of Spanish sculptor Rafael Trénor, the creator of the Soul of the World project.

We take pride in being part of this initiative, promoting knowledge, local heritage, and tourism through this collaborative effort.
