The Corn Islands Virtual Library logo embodies the pride of being a Corn Islander and highlights the importance of knowledge.

The two palm trees represent Great Corn Island and Little Corn Island, the two sister islands that form the Corn Islands archipelago.

At the foundation lies an open book, symbolising knowledge as the foundation of our society. It reminds us that only through education and self-awareness can we thrive and remain resilient through challenging times.

The stars on either side of the emblem represent the cardinal points East and West, evoking the sunrise and sunset and symbolising the passage of time, from the past to the future. The encompassing circle unites all these elements, representing the present moment and reminding us that the time is now to act for the good of our community and our personal growth.
