Corn Islands Legend: The Chained-up Hog

Legend has it that there is a hog that is chained to several little pigs. These animals would walk from one corner of the island to another. If you dared to follow them, they would lead you to where the pirates have buried their treasures.

But this hog and its piglets were a bit tricky sometimes. Most people that saw the animals and followed them ended up marooned or lost among the mangroves in the swamps or on the nearest beach and would never find the treasure.
